Enterprise-grade AI orchestration, governed agents, and one console for every client tenant. Here is the story of the partnership behind it, and what the product does that the rest of the category does not.
Most AI added to MSP tooling is a chatbot bolted to a dashboard. It summarises an alert you could already read, and calls that intelligence. We set out to build the opposite: AI that does the work, inside boundaries you set, across every client tenant at once. That is what RiverAI and Northern Tech Hub have built together, and it is why DendronAI now exists as a product any MSP can run.
Two companies, one problem worth solving.
Northern Tech Hub knows the MSP world from the inside. Twenty tenants, fifty, a hundred, each with its own Entra ID, its own Intune estate, its own idea of what “secured” means, and a team stitching it together one browser profile and one PowerShell script at a time. That is the problem DendronAI was built to end.
RiverAI is an AI delivery consultancy. We were brought in to help build the part that makes DendronAI different from a tidier dashboard: the AI. Not a demo, a delivered capability, across people, process and technology. We worked alongside the Northern Tech Hub team on how agents are designed, governed and orchestrated, so the intelligence is safe to point at other people’s tenants from day one.
The result is a genuine partnership rather than a logo swap. Northern Tech Hub owns the product and the MSP domain. RiverAI brought the AI engineering and the governance model. DendronAI is what the two produced.
What the two teams actually built.
DendronAI is one control plane for every Microsoft 365 tenant an MSP manages. Users, groups and Intune devices. Conditional access, SharePoint permissions, mailboxes. Compliance mapped against NIST. Identity threats detected and shut down. Reporting across every tenant over Microsoft Graph, all of it from one place, across every client at once.
It runs on least privilege by design. One scoped connection per tenant, no standing admin permissions, no client secret stored in your tenant. Access your clients’ auditors will sign off. Kickoff to go-live is three weeks, with the first fourteen days as a proof of value on your real tenants, not a sandbox.
The difference is the AI, and how it is governed.
The platform reads the whole estate, so it can tell a technician what changed, what it means, and what to do next in plain English, per client, across every tenant. What makes that safe to run against other people’s tenants is what it is built on.
DendronAI’s intelligence runs on OneReach.ai’s Generative Studio X (GSX), the agentic orchestration platform enterprises use to govern and coordinate AI agents at scale. This is where the partnership shows. It is not a homegrown wrapper around one model’s API, and it is not an agent left to act on its own.
- Governed agents, not free-range AI. Every agent acts with defined authority, inside set boundaries, with full audit lineage on every decision. It suggests, the change is shown as a diff, and a person applies it.
- True orchestration. GSX scores and routes each job to the right model. Models get swapped underneath; the technician’s console does not move.
- Enterprise infrastructure at MSP reach. The orchestration layer large enterprises deploy, made available to a fifty-client MSP that could never build or buy it alone.
The practical payoff: well-governed agents support technicians to be more efficient, including when the technician is not at the desk. The work still belongs to the human. The agent does the legwork and shows its reasoning.
Where DendronAI sits in a crowded market.
There are capable tools in this space already, CIPP, inforcer, Augmentt and Nerdio among them, and MSPs run them for good reasons. Multi-tenant management is a solved problem at the level of consoles and scripts.
What sets DendronAI apart is the layer above that: enterprise-grade AI orchestration through OneReach GSX, with governance built in rather than bolted on. Most tools in the category either have no real AI or have a chatbot answering questions. DendronAI has governed agents doing work under human control. That is a different category of product, and it is the part RiverAI was engaged to get right.
An honest word on what this is not.
AI is not magic here, and we will not sell it as such. The agents are useful because they are bounded, audited and supervised, not because they are autonomous. Putting more of your operation on one platform also concentrates it, so isolation, uptime and your exit options are fair questions to ask us, and we would rather you asked them early than late.
The point is not AI for its own sake. It is the simplest thing that measurably changes how an MSP’s week runs, with a human in control of every change that lands.
The roadmap is where it gets interesting.
DendronAI is the root and the trunk: one least-privilege connection per tenant, everything scoped and audited, with each capability a branch growing from it. Today those branches manage Microsoft 365. The architecture was built from day one to grow into the rest of what your clients run.
There is more coming through Q4 2026 that we are not going to itemise in a marketing list. It is the work RiverAI and Northern Tech Hub are most excited about, and it is best shown rather than described. Book the call and we will walk you through where it is heading.
Talk to us.
If you run other people’s tenants and you are tired of being the integration layer, this is worth thirty minutes. We will talk through your client estate, how many tenants, where it hurts, and what to turn on first.
Book a demo at dendronai.co.uk/demo. We will run a scoped proof of value on your real tenants in fourteen days.
